Mission Control

Cool websites and tools to build your own perfect batcave 😎💅

These websites are ones I think are great tools and look cool at the same time, the perfect thing to have up on a monitor to have some interesting live data, and something useful at the same time.

Wigle.net

This website lets you see an open sourced map of wifi networks and bluetooth devices in just about any part of the globe. With Wigle you can track wifi hotspots, see how common your wifi name is, and see the density of networks in an area, plus it just looks really cool.

Flightradar24.com

With this site you can track individual aircrafts, see all the planes in the sky, and a ton of other informatin like duration of thir flight, take off and landing times, airspeed and plenty more!

Thetruesize.com

This website us super useful, have you ever wonderd why greenland looks so big on maps? Or how many Colombias fit inside austraila, well this website is super easy to use you can just drag any country to anywhere on the globe and see how big it is at differnt latatudes.

This size difference happes FYI because the earth is a sphere, but most maps of the earth are flat, so there is a size distortion in the top and bottom of these maps.

IQair.com

Want to check on the air quality anywhere in the world? Well I’ve got you covered with this one, you can see wind patterns, different sizes of particulate matter, and just a gorgeous view of the earth.

Waze.com/live-map

You can see live traffic data from Waze anywhere on earth that Waze is used, and you don’t need to sign in.

Leolabs.space/visualization

This project is especially cool, you can see live data on objects in near earth orbit, from debris, to functioning satellites, you can even drill down and see individual objects and what they are and where they came from.
