If you want grungy star wars vibes, huge mecha suits, and lots of beating up of huge monsters honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with this movie.
It’s has amazing visuals, the monsters look distinctive and monstery, and the mechas AKA Jaegers are cool looking and huge, it’s a perfect mecha movie.
There is an attempted love plot angle, but they never really explore it thankfully, they just keep to what they are good at, blowing stuff up, and making it look cool. 😎😎😎
